Tips to Help You Sell Your House Quicker

Foreclosures and short sales make the present market more competitive. These tips can help you stand out amongst the rest.

1-     Lowest Pricing Possible- Try to have your house priced at least 10% less than others for sale in your area.

2-     Curb Appeal is First Impression- Power washing the siding and clean windows at the very least are recommended. Fresh painted or new front door helps. Trim hedges and some potted flowers on front porch give appeal.

3-     Staging- Remove personal and extra objects to highlight the maximum amount of space and features of the house. If you have moved out, you can add some appeal by highlighting architectural and focal areas.

4-     Target First Time Home Buyers- With “Tax Credit” offers available, first time homebuyers are the largest purchasing group at present.

5-     Plan to Close Quickly- Have a plan to move out of the house as soon as you get a pre-approved offer. Even if it means a temporary location until your new home is purchased.
